An injectable preparation using fine particles of a calcium compound that is also present in bone and teeth.
What characterises it
Right after injection it plays a physical supporting role, and over time it is known to induce a collagen-producing response in the surrounding tissue.
Good to know
Its properties differ from hyaluronic acid types, so it cannot be reversed with a dissolving enzyme. Because the areas and layers of application are limited, this needs to be checked at the consultation.
