Hair Loss & Scalp
휴지기 탈모
A phenomenon in which a large amount of hair falls out at once a few months after experiences such as childbirth, surgery, rapid weight loss or major stress.
It occurs as hair that was in the growth phase moves into the resting phase all at once. A triggering factor and the time lag of appearing a few months later are characteristic.
In many cases it recovers over time once the cause is resolved. However, it can overlap with other types of hair loss, so a distinction needs to be made.
