Aging & Wrinkles

피부처짐

A state in which the supporting strength of the skin and the tissue beneath it has declined so that it sags downwards.

What the term refers to

Reduced collagen and elastin in the dermis, a change in the position of subcutaneous fat and weakening of the supporting structures act together. In many cases it becomes noticeable first at the jawline, cheeks and neck.

Good to know

The approach differs according to the degree of sagging and the layer responsible. Setting a direction after checking skin thickness and the fat layer with ultrasound can help reduce unnecessary procedures.
